Kōwhai painting auction for hospice
Hello!
I’m attaching some details for a floral painting I’ve just finished of some Kōwhai flowers that will be going up for auction this Friday. If you are interested in placing an online bid, I’m putting a form in this email and it will be available for you to place bids until Thursday the 10th at 11:59pm (NZ time). In-person bids will be able to be placed at the event in Clyde which has now sold out!
All of the proceeds will be going to the Otago Community Hospice, an Otago-wide community based service who provide speciality palliative care services free of charge to those who are faced with terminal illness.
The hospice relies heavily on community fundraising events like like this one to continue delivering amazing services to those in need of them. My husband works there and I have watched from afar as the team there supports people “to live and die well”.
The kōwhai is a beautiful native New Zealand flower that features in the hospice emblem.
I am happy to pay for the shipping within NZ, but if you’re overseas, let me know and I can give you a quote to send it boxed or rolled and an estimation of duties and taxes.
If you would like any further details about the artwork, videos, close up shots, or to know anything else about hospice, or anything I might have missed, I am always here to answer questions!
