Celebrating 20 years of Gallery De Novo :)
Hello!
I have a new work available through Gallery De Novo as part of their show celebrating 20 years in business!
‘Go Home Peony’ began during school holidays, when studio time is more of a rumour than a reality. The gin bottle was empty (no comment), but clean, and the peony was living out its last days on my bench. Both held on just long enough to be photographed & painted. It’s a little ode to making do, staying upright, and squeezing beauty out of the chaos.
